Pelican Brewing, Tillamook, OR

Kiwanda Cream Ale, 25 ibu, 5.4%, nice clean finish ale, good every day drinker, would order. 

Sea'N Red, Irish style red ale, no nose, a clean red ale.  25 ibu, 5.4%. 

Five Fin, West coast pilsner, 45 ibu, 5.3%, good pilsner, clean finish. 

Tsunami Stout, 45 ibu, 7%, good Stout nose, clean taste, good Stout finish.  Good drinker.

Umbrella, New World IPA, 60 Ibu, 7.4%, cotrus nose, very tasty, clean finish, good beer. 

Beak Bender, hoppinated IPA, 65ibu, 6.7%, small Hop after taste, still a good drinking IPA.  Would buy.

Beak Breaker, Double IPA, 90ibu, 9%, good nose, good hop finish, good beer.  Would buy. 

Berried at Sea, American Stout, 45 ibu, 7%,  has black berry & black currants, Stout with a semi sweet taste.  Good and not too sweet.

HopCat Gand Opening second flight of beers

Prairie Artisan Ales, Tulsa, OK, Bomb, Imp. Stout W/ coffee, chocolate, vanilla beans, & anchor chili's, okay beer but not as good as Calavera from Zipline Brewing:. New Holland Brewing, Night Tripper, Imperial Stout, good beer would order again:. Bell's Brewing, Traverse City Vanilla 355 E Stout, Traverse City Whiskey Co. Barrel aged coffee stout W/vanilla, 8.8%,very good beer, would definitely order again. 

HopCat grand opening

HopCat, Grand opening three new beers, Lagunitas, High Westified Imp. Coffee Stout, Rye Barrel aged;. Perennial Sump, Imp. Stout W/Sump coffee;. Zipline Brewing, Calavera, Barrel Aged Choc Stout W/vanilla, cinnamon, chili pepper & cocoa nibs.  All three good beers.

Odd Side Ales

Odd side Ales,

Spiced Stout rum barrel aged, imperial stout, with smoked black peppercorns.  10% abv, rum gives it the liquor touch in the nose and at the back of the throat, nice beer.

Mayan Mocha Stout, stout with coffee, habanero, nutmeg, cinnamon, 6.5%, nose is the nutmeg and cinnamon, heat sneaks up on you.   Cinnamon and nutmeg prevalent.   as good or better than the one we had in St. Louis.

Baltic porter, 7%, robust porter, fall season, amber porter, slight fruity taste, not robust.

Chocolate Koffie Stout, 6.5%, Stout brewed with coffee and chocolate, chocolate nose, a little  bitter on back end, slight coffee taste, good stout

Bean Flicker, blonde ale with coffee added, 4.5%, good nose, cannot discern smell but not bad, slight coffee taste, not bad.  Served on CO2.

Bean Flicker, on nitro, seems a little flat

Citra Pale Ale, Pale ale done exclusively with citra hops. nice citrus nose,
